Drumming literature

Hi. Hope all is well with everyone.
I've got a lot of travelling coming up and just had a quick question while coming up with stuff to do in those dreaded long waits in airport gates. Is there any good drumming literature around?
I mean a book rather than short essays or articles. It could be motivational, it could be about the drumming side in the industry, anything really...I am also interested in the psychological/mental attitude approach to drumming. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

History of jazz drumming from the inside. Full of anecdotes. Fascinating.

I enjoyed the Billy Ward book, "Inside Out", and "Traps the Drum Wonder" is always fun.

This book is rather informative, and interesting to read

The Drum Book: A History of the Rock Drum Kit
by Geoff Nicholls

It' not stricktly rock drums though, and there are great pics too.

Kenny Werner's The Inner game of Music.

On as different thread, James Michener's books are usually a good read.

Peter Erskine's "The Drum Perspective" is amazing. And there's a book about old R+B drumming that has a ton of information in it. I forget who it's by.

Speaking of kenny Werner, "Effortless Mastery" is great too.

Bruford's book "When in Doubt Roll" is pretty good, IMO. There are transcriptions as well as lots of text and photos.

Thanks for the additional comments. I think those history-type books are not what I am after. I will see what material I can track down!
